Nice big room at Hatfield College Durham. Great breakfast. Very friendly staff

Really great place to stay - excellent location, food and rooms. There's no wifi / any other internet in the rooms and you have to go to the porter's lodge to get a wifi username and password to use the wifi in the computer room, which can be annoying for just checking emails, but otherwise a great b and b experience at Hatfield College Durham

The rooms were lovely, comfortable and warm and the people were friendly and helpful. Only criticisms were that there was no 'relaxing' area - TV room being renovated - and while the cooked breakfast was very good, the cereals, fruit and yoghurt for the healthier eaters was not great

Excellent breakfast. The accommodation was basic but very good value for money and rooms were very clean. Tea/coffee making facilities and wash basin in the room are pluses, and for someone wishing to stay in a central location you cannot get better than Hatfield College Durham for the price

Hatfield College Durham is better than other colleges that I visited in Durham. Could be better if there had been information about how to connect to the internet

Nice accommodation. The College is located on the Peninsula and is the ideal place to base for visiting the city or for conferences. 24/7 reception and the room was clean enough

Friendly welcome, convenient location for major tourist attractions, good value for money. Mostly quiet, except for occasional lorries rushing by in the middle of the night. Decor a little tired but clean and functional
