The rooms themselves were fine; the problem was that the rooms we stayed in were directly above the reception desk. No one can talk quietly even at midnight and we were kept awake. Breakfast was very good

Excellent location, breakfast fine, but somewhat disappointed by the accommodation. Described as "Recently refurbished", "Executive", and "4 star" but did not live up to billing - think 2 -3 star at most. The en-suite was shabby, and beds just ok, but duvets would have been preferable to sheets, and furniture generally past its best. Expensive at 80 pounds- travelodge at 60 pounds much better value. But we did enjoy the atmosphere and location
