Large clean room in block of student accommodation, very basic amenities. Bed too soft. Lots of self-closing doors which can be quite noisy. Bathrooms at end of corridor, not necessarily near the room! Large communal kitchens but these are NOT equipped with pots, pans, cutlery, etc so you have to take EVERYTHING with you that you may need. Staff friendly enough but some could barely speak English There's no TV in the rooms, no kettle, no wi-fi. Although very basic accommodation, it is clean, spacious, and cheap. Beware the parking charges from 12.30pm to 2.30pm Mon-Fri (free the rest of the time). Breakfast is provided but it is just basic cereals and toast.

Hampstead Rooms Reviews
Excellent, large sunny room, clean and quiet. Lovely area of London - green, leafy, safe and upmarket. Nice modern showers all locked with w/c and roomy. Swipe card access to the building. 24 hour reception. Superb value for London. Took me about 25 minutes to walk to Hampstead tube but still very happy with my stay. Would definitely book Hampstead Rooms again
Very helpful, even though I had made a mistake in my booking
Really nice place, clean
Hampstead Residence offers an excellent value for high season travel to London. Located in a lovely, quiet residential neighbourhood, it is ideal for those of us who like to be somewhat removed from the heart of the action yet within easy striking distance. Several bus lines run from a stop just around the corner and two Underground stations are within a 15 minute walk. Rooms are basic, as one would expect of a university residence, but clean with shared bathrooms easily accessible and sufficient in number that one should never have to wait. The included breakfast was a nice bonus. Similarly basic, but solid with reasonable variety. All in all, an excellent value for summer accommodation in London. I look forward to my next visit.
