The single room was extremely cramped, there was very little space between the narrow bed and the tiny facilities tray. There was no storage space for clothes and nowhere to put a suitcase. The bathroom was no bigger than a cupboard. Indeed, the shower recess was so small that one bumped into the small hand basin whenever one turned around in the shower. The taps on the hand basin were very loose and could not be turned off securely. There was only a trickle of water in the shower. I could not stay at the hotel under those conditions so had to search for alternative accommodation

The Grapevine is a basic, backpacker level hotel. You gets what you pay for. Very small rooms, but clean bedding and it is in a good location. I use it fairly regularly because it well situated, friendly and value for money as long as you don't mind it being a bit down at heel

We had a very good time in the Grapevine Hotel. The room and the bathroom was very clean. Unfortunately our bathroom was not inside our room, but it was used only by us, so it was a private bathroom as agreed. I liked the fact that the room had free TV. The room was very comfortable and nice, and the beds were cosy. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We had delicious breakfast every morning. The hotel is located in an ideal area close to public transport, convenience stores, restaurants and internet cafe. I think I would stay here again

It was ok. Would stay again, friendly service, reasonable breakfast. Room decorated well. I think it could do with a better clean, but I would stay again.
