As this B&B is situated in Hayes, a town West of Central London, you will find it easy to get to the capital city from here too. If you’re bringing a car there’s ample free parking! Whilst relaxing in the gardens you should write postcards home to say that the hotel you’re staying in used to be a private school where George Orwell taught in the 1930’s!

You can stay in a single, twin, double or triple room at Fountain House Hotel. The singles either share bathrooms or have an ensuite, but with the rest of the rooms you can rest assured that you will have an ensuite shower, toilet and wash basin. The facilities in the room are basic, nothing more than tea and coffee making facilities, central heating and a colour television, but as a cooked buffet breakfast that’s served in the dining room is included in the room rate you can’t really complain! |

Hayes, where Fountain House Hotel is situated, is not much to write home about but this doesn’t matter if you’re using this place as a stopover point for Heathrow Airport. If you are staying a few nights you should use Hayes Train Station to explore the delights of Central London. If you get off at Charing Cross you could hop on a tube direct to places like Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. Alternatively if you get off at Cannon Street you’ll be really close to the Tower of London. |
