Description |

|
|
Fountain House Hotel offers you the convenience of a bed and breakfast close to
Heathrow Airport, without being in the direct flight path. As this B&B is
situated in Hayes, a town West of Central London, you will find it easy to get
to the capital city from here too. If you’re bringing a car there’s ample free
parking! Whilst relaxing in the gardens you should write postcards home to say
that the hotel you’re staying in used to be a private school where George Orwell
taught in the 1930’s!

A Double Room at The Fountain House Hotel
 |
 |
You can stay in a single, twin, double or triple room at Fountain House Hotel.
The singles either share bathrooms or have an ensuite, but with the rest of the
rooms you can rest assured that you will have an ensuite shower, toilet and wash
basin. The facilities in the room are basic, nothing more than tea and coffee
making facilities, central heating and a colour television, but as a cooked
buffet breakfast that’s served in the dining room is included in the room rate
you can’t really complain! |

Hayes, where Fountain House Hotel is situated, is not much to write home about but this doesn’t matter if you’re using this place as a stopover point for Heathrow Airport. If you are staying a few nights you should use Hayes Train Station to explore the delights of Central London. If you get off at Charing Cross you could hop on a tube direct to places like Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus. Alternatively if you get off at Cannon Street you’ll be really close to the Tower of London. |

The Fountain House Hotel is located in Outer London but within the M25. It is a great solution for staying in West London at a reasonable cost. We had to take our car to find restaurants but all in all good value for a quick stopover.

Fantastic people! Staff was very kind, helpful and informative. They are truly what makes the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable (full bathroom and shower), and breakfast was quite substantial. They were also so flexible, staying up late for our first arrival and allowing very late check out for our overnight flight. Hayes is not used to many tourist but they are quite nice nonetheless (invited for tea by strangers when caught in the rain, given lots of free food samples and random conversations initiated by many)

Very impressed. Clean, tidy, warm and friendly service. Ideal for commuting into London as not so expensive but easy to still get in. We all enjoyed our stay. Food good and plenty of it, choice good also. Value for money excellent, will be recommending to friends and family. We will definitely go back in the future.

Arrived at hotel while it was raining, checked in ok was told where room was got into room to find window had been left open and that there was water everywhere in the bed room and also due to another window left open in bathroom that to was also covered in water. All in all a bad stay, would not recommend to anyone.

We stayed at the Fountain House Hotel on the 19th August. The hotel was not up to our expectations and we were rather disappointed. First of all, there was the horrible smell in the room even with the window wide open it was very strong. The room was not cleaned: the underneath of the toilet seat had dried urine stains on it, the bed cover looked very old and smelly and stains on the wallpaper. The curtains were torn. There was a mouse in the room and we reported to the owner of the hotel. The owner was very kind and hospitable, but how can anyone stay in a hotel in this condition.
