The Fountain House Hotel
Fountain House Hotel offers you the convenience of a bed and breakfast close to Heathrow Airport, without being in the direct flight path. As this B&B is situated in Hayes, a town West of Central London, you will find it easy to get to the capital city from here too. If you’re bringing a car there’s ample free parking! You can also use WiFi to send an email to friends, telling them about how you’re staying in the hotel that used to be a private school where George Orwell taught in the 1930s!
You can stay in a single, twin, double or triple room at Fountain House Hotel. The singles either share bathrooms or have an ensuite, but with the rest of the rooms you can rest assured that you will have an ensuite shower, toilet and wash basin. The facilities in the room are basic, nothing more than tea and coffee making facilities, central heating and a colour television, but as a cooked buffet breakfast that’s served in the dining room is included in the room rate you can’t really complain!

Fountain House Hotel is situated in Hayes, within easy access of Heathrow Airport, as well as Central London. To get to the famous attractions in the heart of the capital you can jump on a train from Hayes and Harlington Train Station. You can get the train to Paddington Station, and then from here stroll to Oxford Street, Madame Tussauds and Hyde Park. Closer to the hotel you can visit several attractions, including Chessington World of Adventures, Windsor Castle and Stockley Country Park.

- Fountain House Hotel is really close to Heathrow Airport. You should take a taxi from the airport to your hotel.
- By Train:
- If you are travelling via train to Fountain House Hotel you should travel to Hayes and Harlington Train Station. This train station is a short taxi ride away from the hotel.
- By Car:
- From Heathrow Airport get onto the M4 heading towards London and exit at junction 3 onto the A312 towards Harrow. Go straight over the 1st roundabout and turn left at the 2nd roundabout onto the A4020 towards Uxbridge. Turn right into Church Road, where you will find Fountain House Hotel at numbers 116-118.

The room was fine for the price. The TV was not working due to no antennae. Otherwise a sound place to stay. Local amenities were poor - only one pub in walking distance and only take away food.

Fountain House Hotel was one of the best London hotels I've been to. So inviting, kind and caring! Very cheap and you get a more or less homely/old British room. Stayed the for a week and their caring never ceased a bit. The bus will take you front outside the door all the way to Brentford, Hounslow, Heathrow, Southall or Northolt where you can take the tube to Central London if you'd wish to. However I would not recommend this for families with children since it's a more quiet place

Fountain House Hotel is located within outer London but within the M25 which makes it a reasonably cheap option. The rooms are small but is a quiet retreat for a quick stopover.

Clean tidy room although basic, quiet location, friendly staff, good value for money. Would book Fountain House Hotel again
