You should also go to the famous Spitalfields Market and the Columbia Flower Market, which are close by. As you'll be opposite Bethnal Green Tube Station, London's West End, museums, theatres, galleries and nightlife are really easy to get to!

Its advantage is the price and great location in close proximity to Brick Lane/Spitalfields. With the tube station across the road, connections into the city are easy and quick. On the downside: it didn't deliver on all of its promises. There was no hair-dryer in the room - though one (I think, brand new) was delivered at my wife's request. The TV in the room didn't work. And the whole hotel needs a good clean -- it is shabby and grubby throughout. Breakfast was not bad. All in all, you get what you pay for and we would book City View Hotel again

I stay at the City View Hotel London every two months, whilst visiting my daughter. I have never had a bad experience yet. The staff are always welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Do not expect four star luxury for the price, but if you are on a strict budget, then you won't be disappointed

I enjoyed my 3 night stay at City View Hotel London. Staff were helpful. Room was clean. With TV, electric kettle and fridge. I was in a basement room in the building next door. Anyway get wax ear plugs if sounds bother you
