The location is excellent, near to Victoria Station in a neighborhood where there are also places where you can eat or drink a beer and big grocers shop to buy some food. The room was quite clean but very small and uncomfortable, and the bed was too short. Also, the television did not work

Chester Hotel Victoria is situated at a good location very near to Victoria station, other than that the room (double bedded) is rather small. The hotel should have provided more hooks or towel rail in the bathroom for one to hang one's clothes and towels. More hanging shelves should have been added to the walls in the bedroom. Antislip floor mats should have been placed in the bathroom, shower plastic cloth should be able to be tied up after one has finished using the shower. Plus points are the tea making facilities provided and the location

I got to this London hotel with an open mind having read both good and negative reviews. Checked in early and was given an upgraded room, with key to be picked up later. The room was very small and compact but I only spent about 10 hours in there and that was asleep so have no real issues

This is the first hotel I have ever reviewed but felt this had to be done. After making my booking I read a lot of bad reviews and was quite apprehensive but upon our arrival we were happy with the value Chester provided. We arrived early and was aloud to leave our luggage until the check in at 2. When we did check in we found the room to be very small but very clean and nicely done. The double bed was small but very comfortable and as we had a single two once it got to sleep time we quite enjoyed having our own bed. Yes this was a very compact room the the bathroom was no smaller than the regular chain I use and the staff were all very friendly. We were asked many times if everything was ok and if we needed anything. Perfect room for our budget and our needs would have no hesitation to stay at Chester Hotel Victoria again
