For what I paid for the Comfort Inn London, I got some decent amenities. There isn’t a doorman pushing the revolving door for you, obviously, but what is there is great. The décor is clean and modern and colourful. I don’t know about anyone else but that instantly puts me in a great mood. My room was the size of a cupboard but, once again, I’d paid precious little so couldn’t expect an anteroom with a chez longues and Bollinger on ice. Best of all was that it was meticulously clean. That really is a biggy for me, and other hotels I’ve stayed in around the same area haven’t had the same standard. And even if the hotel doesn’t feel like the poshest in London, the area certainly does and a quick ramble around nearby Pimlico will reminded me just how luxurious the area is. This hotel has the all-important quality of self-respect, and with TravelStay I got a free breakfast and a small discount. So if this is the case again, I’ll rebook for certain
Central House Hotel staff very friendly. Hotel was clean, breakfast basic but ok. One problem was our room was at the back of the hotel and was very cold, it had two electric radiators but still cold in the middle of the night. But all in all decent hotel for the price
Room at Central House Hotel was small but clean, heating didn't work, there was a small oil heater but output was low to cold for a shower in morning. Breakfast was good facilities was very clean in all areas. Staff were helpful
I am very pleased with my stay at Central House Hotel. The good points are as follows -
1. Excellent lighting in the rooms, not atmosphere lighting like in most hotel rooms where you can't see anything!
2. The room was comfortable.
3. Very clean throughout the hotel.
4. The hotel looked fresh and newly refurbished.
5. There were friendly staff especially on reception.
6. Central House Hotel was in such a good location!
The not so good things to say are -
1. My room was small with lack of storage space for clothes. Although this didn't bother us as we only slept there it could be a problem for someone wanting to stay longer.
2. Everyone seemed to be fighting for the real butter in the breakfast room. No one seemed to want the margarine.
Overall I would recommend this hotel every time!
A nice hotel from where you can easily explore London. Comfortable beds and very clean and tidy conditions. The staff were always friendly and helpful
