Central Hostel is small and ridiculously cheap, which is great news if you have a limited budget and want to save as much money as you can for sightseeing and going out in London. Situated in lively Bayswater, within easy reach of Hyde Park, Notting Hill and the West End, you'll get a free continental breakfast here as well as low-cost access to the internet via the internet cafe. You'll also find a TV lounge with hundreds of DVD's for you to watch, and a small shared kitchen in the basement.

A Typical Dormitory at Central Hostel London
 |
 |
When it comes to going to sleep at Central Hostel London, you will stay in a sparsely furnished and basic dormitory room, which you would expect anyway as it's so inexpensive. As you'll spend most of your time exploring London's tourist attractions and nightlife, this is all you need anyway! You can book a single bunk bed in a dorm that sleeps between 4 and 8 people here. When you wake up in the morning you'll find hot showers and clean toilets conveniently located close to your dormitory.

It was great, quite tidy , bed's were comfortable enough, didn't get breakfast though and you have to pay a £5 deposit for the key which you have to return the next day before 10 if you want your deposit back, but otherwise it was very convenient and near the tube station, a taxi to the West End only cost about £13 at 4 in the morning. I will definitely be using it again

The bed, duvet and toilets were ok. Good deal at a very cheap price

Good hostel, good location (nice area). Dorm was all right (not the best bed). Good value for money. Would recommend this hostel. Breakfast not included

Unfortunately this hostel was really bad. The mattresses were about one hundred years old, the bed clothes weren't changed when a new guest arrived (yes we had to sleep in used beddings), all the doors and the wall-to-wall carpets were broken, in one bathroom the cold water didn't work, actually there weren't enough bathrooms for so many rooms, everywhere was dust and dirt, we didn't get the breakfast (cornflakes with milk) for free, although it said so in our reservation. I wouldn't advise somebody to stay in the central hostel, although it is cheap

We stayed in a 4 bed dorm for 1 night. It smelt of damp and all the mattresses were lumpy. Bedding was provided but was a single bottom sheet, duvet and pillow. I don't think it was all that clean as my pal found a wiry hair in her bed. I got bitten to buggery by fleas! I guess you can't complain for its location but watch out for the receipt scan- if you lose it and don't check out by 10 you lose a fiver! You get use of kitchen, free tea and coffee whenever and internet was quite cheap.
