Having never visited London before I wasnt sure what to expect from the Carlton Hotel. At a hundred pounds a night I was very let down. Room 24 on the third floor was a disgrace. 3 beds shoved into a corner room and the en suite bathroom was extremely small to say the least. The only plus point was the location of this hotel brilliant for all the places we wanted to visit. Personally I would not recommend this hotel to anyone

Staff at Carlton Hotel were friendly, food good. But broken lamp and drawer handles and cold shower on first morning.

A cheap hotel in a convenient location. Room was of an adequate size but the bathroom was more like a closet. However, as I was a single traveller it didn't really matter. The room was clean and tidy, coffee and biscuits replenished every day and breakfast was good. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only down side is the traffic noise from Euston Road.

The location was excellent for catching the Eurostar from St Pancras International, which is easily walked there without luggage. The hotel was noisy, a bit run down, and breakfast was a bit ordinary. The night staff were very helpful.
