Conveniantly located for the shops, buses and tube. Carlton Hotel London is very clean with adequate rooms, good beds and good breakfast. It is good value.

On the downside, the lift didn't always work and the stairs were steep and narrow. In our room we had to use a hot jug on the floor to make tea. Would stay again - just a few minor improvements are needed

The staff were unhelpful, the room was very small and the bedding dirty. The TV remote didn't work, the WiFi was too weak for my needs, I was on a high floor and the lift didn't work. I do not recommend this hotel and will not stay again.

The room was very clean and serviced although a little small and lacked a chair. The self service breakfast excellent with the choice of full English, cereal, toast, juice with tea and coffee. The hotel is ideal for the budget business traveller.

Our room was very clean, however very small and situated in the basement with a very narrow staircase and corridors. It could be a big problem in the event of fire for anyone staying in the basement to get out of there. Everyone working in the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. The location is great and prices are very reasonable

Lovely hotel, clean and tidy with friendly efficient staff. They have a lift too for our heavy bags. Price paid was very reasonable and makes a change from the large chains with clinical rooms and staff. For car drivers beware, it is within the congestion area which runs Mon-Fri 07.00 -18.00 and costs 10 pounds per day. Parking is near impossible in Kings Cross area so best leave car at home which for us from further away and many bags is easier said than done

Carlton Hotel London is in a great location - across the road from Kings Cross station. It's very clean, has helpful staff, a good breakfast and it seemed safe and secure. Would recommend.
