Carlton Hotel London is clean and comfy but the only problem is the stairs. We both suffering from knee problems and it's agonising climbing the 2nd floor room. As if we are climbing Mt. Everest. We have to stop and rest several times and catching our breath at the same time. When I book I try to request the lower level but unfortunately nothing available so the reception said. But we did have a great time
Room and bathroom was small, but comfortable and clean. My aftershave was broken after placed on the shelf above the sink due to the vibrations from the train line. Noise insulation is non existent and I could hear the neighbours talking all night. The all you can eat cooked breakfast was nice. Reception staff were friendly & helpful and overall I was happy with my stay here.
Hotel and rooms clean, breakfast was good, staff was helpful at Carlton Hotel London
Good place to stay right by Kings Cross: Specious room, friendly staff and good breakfast included at Carlton Hotel London
Carlton Hotel London is in a good location
The first room we had smelled really bad, the second room we were given was really small. The breakfast room is cramped and not very hygienic.
The room was too small for 2 adults. The view was of a filthy rooftop with rubbish all over which made us not want to open the window which made us hot and quite uncomfortable.
Poor service, poor facilities and our room was tiny.
Whilst the staff are friendly, there is a professionalism lacking that should otherwise be very good in any hotel. My toilet seat was broken and the curtains worn. Needs a refurb overall
Carlton Hotel has a great location! Small, but clean. Nice and polite staff. The breakfast was not very impressive, but ok. The scariest and smallest elevator ever! All in all a fine place to stay for a weekend in London.
