The room at the Carlton Hotel London was small but spotlessly clean. We arrived on the coldest night of the year but all through the night the heating was kept on and the beds were cosy and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good: all you could eat! Hotel situated very conveniently for train, tube and bus links. It was also a very quiet hotel, so will book there again!

Myself and a friend booked a twin room at the Carlton Hotel London. The night manager, Nigel, was lovely, friendly and extremely helpful, to the point of checking parking restrictions for me. The room was adequate for 3 hours sleep but the bathroom was very compact. The breakfast and the other staff were appalling. The buffet consisted of dry, cold bacon, shrivelled cold sausages and crusty, cold scrambled egg. There was no fruit juice, just sugared orange water and warm coffee and no toast. I chose this hotel as it was close to a club. Very sorry but if those rooms are worth £100, I will need to look at £200 rooms to find the standard we have in the rest of the country.

The Carlton Hotel London is as fine as any other London hotel in the same category. You know what you can expect from it by the of quality of the premises, but the kindness of the employees was super. The room I had was really noiseless: this is an added value in King's Cross.

Carlton Hotel London is a nice place very close to Kings Cross station where I was travelling from. Warm welcome, nice staff, nice breakfast. Worth spending to stay there.

The hotel's location is perfect for travelling around London, its just across the road from both Kings Cross Rail and underground stations, lots of restaurants all less than 50 metres away on Euston Road. The hotel itself is a standard 3 star, clean, with basic amenities. Printing services are available for tickets etc, breakfast was good and plentiful, the staff were helpful. Only downside is that if you stay a multiple number of days they do not change the bedding when making up the room.

We stayed in a lovely cosy room, with a nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and interacted well with our 3 and 5 year olds.  We said we would go back again but only for one or two nights not for the 5 nights, bit too cramped for a long stay. Kings cross is very noisy with traffic, sirens and loud people, throughout the night. That wasn't the hotel's fault though.

Carlton Hotel London is very good location for anyone using Euston/St Pancras or Kings Cross stations and not too noisy considering proximity to these areas. Room was clean and quite spacious and bed was comforable, shower room a bit small but clean and plenty of hot water. Breakfast wasn't that great but probably all to be expected considering overall price paid. Lift was out of order the day I stayed which was a problem to me because of my luggage
