I stayed at the Carlton Hotel once before. This time I had a much nicer stay. The staff were very helpful. It's close to Victoria Station and underground, it's very central for shopping and getting around London is easy. The room was clean and tidy. I would not hesitate to book again.
My stay at the Carlton Hotel was quite good and the price was reasonable, but the check-out was too early
I will not be booking at the Carlton Hotel again. It was clean but we should have been told there was work going on in the hotel. The staff only spoke if you spoke first, and on the day of leaving, we weren't even spoken to by the two ladies doing breakfast. We stayed in the dinning room at all times, making one feel very uncomfortable. No, we will not be using this hotel again.
The Carlton Hotel is just about value for money at £32. When I tried to book again for next week they wanted £47. The above sums up the staff: greedy and lazy. Repeated requests for milk in the room for the tea facility were ignored.
Good location, nice clean hotel. Good value for money. Maybe the receptionist at night could have had some better manners
