The people in the Carlton Hotel were well cool and made things quick and easy so we could leave our stuff and go out to meet mates. Breakfast was good too

A comfortable room for a night's rest. However breakfast was not adequate for the special dietary needs I had requested. There was no gluten free cereal or bread available and when queried the staff did not seem to be aware of a gluten free diet. All I had was a drink of orange juice and a cup of tea. Desk staff were very helpful with advice about sightseeing and checking the underground

The hotel was adequate or what we needed with a standard sized bedroom and very small bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful as we were able to leave our luggage in the breakfast room the day we were leaving so we didn't have to carry it around with us while sight-seeing. Breakfast was nice with a selection of cereal, toast, yoghurt and croissants

The room was very clean and tidy. The pillows were uncomfortable and there was not a decent quilt on the bed so it was cold. The bathroom was so small that when the shower was on everything in room including toilet rolls and towels got wet. There was not enough room for all the guests in the breakfast room. It was not the most comfortable stay overall but the room was clean which is the most important thing to me

Overall hotel was perfect for a one night stay although I am not sure I would like to stay for any longer. Room was clean and very warm, though bathroom would benefit from updating, sinks cracked etc. Breakfast was cereal, yoghurt, toast and croissant. Was a short walk to Pimlico Station and a little further to Victoria. Have stayed in London halls for similar money and they are preferable to here though for the money you cant expect a 5 star hotel, you get what you pay for in london

Reasonable accommodation for room rate and away from noise

A friend and I were house hunting in the area and used the room as our unofficial self-catering base for one whole week. For us it was just perfect. The "private facilities" were more like a tiny plastic wet-room than a bathroom. But the water was hot, the towels clean and were changed daily. The tv had a picture, the heating worked, the window opened and there were no Stag or Hen parties. Neither of us suffered the bites we've had from cheaper hotels. And although I couldn't say The Carlton was anything special - we both had very rested night's sleeps and that is what its all about :o) zzzzzz

We had a good stay at the Carlton Hotel, which is right in the centre of London, easy to get to and from at any time of the day. The bathroom was smallish but it was definately plenty big enough for a few nights stay. We plan on staying here next time we come to London

The room had three beds instead of two. Which made the room more crowded. The shower room was on small size. Apart from that a great stay at Carlton hotel. Very close to all the attractions
