California Hotel is a little gem just a stones throw away from King Cross station and the tube. We were welcomed by very pleasant staff who were helpful and friendly. We were in a family room in the basement which slept six. Four single beds and one double all of which were very comfortable. Although the room slept six we were not cramped at all as the room was a very good size with ensuite which was of high standard. Cleanliness was exceptional being of a very high standard throughout. We all had a lovely hot English breakfast which was buffet style and there were cereal,yogurt,fruit and cheese with plenty of tea, coffee and juice. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely return when next in London :)

I had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were very friendly and helpful too. Ideal base near Kings Cross for exploring London. Will definately visit again

California Hotel London is an excellent place to stay. Rooms clean, staff all helpful and polite. Good to be able to leave luggage on arrival and next day for collection proir to going home. Good situation close to Kings Cross

Had a one night stay in Oct, 5 people in a basement room which was large,comfortable and well decorated. The hotel was very clean and the staff very nice,a great location for trains/tubes, nice breakfast and somewhere to leave your bags on last day. Would definitely stay again when in London, all at a great price, thank you

A brilliant hotel in London with helpful staff. It was clean and modern, the breakfast was nice and there was plenty of it and the rooms were well set out. The only criticism is that there are no lifts but lots of stairs and I had a disabled child with me so carried her around

Enjoyed my stay at the California Hotel London,which was close to transport and local amenities. Found the staff helpful and accommodating;the single room with ensuite was clean and adequate for my needs. Would recommend this low budget Hotel for its cleanliness and spacious facilities
