Strange set up with it being above a pub and using back fire escape to enter and leave. No staff around overnight? Rooms tatty carp[et torn and worn. Bed clean and comfortable and water hot. Continental breaksfast was a box of cereal in the room! Beaconsfield Hotel was basic but for the price ok
It's a nice London hotel
After seeing a heavy amount of negative reviews on review sites, we were expecting the hotel to be very poor. On arriving, we had to wait about 20 minutes to get seen, with the one member of staff not looking that confident when dealing with customers. However, we were finally seen and got our room sorted and we headed up. For how cheap the booking was, the room was good, with it being clean. The shower was excellent. The only bad thing was that it was extremely warm, despite the radiator being off and the window open, so maybe a fan in the room could have helped. Also, the hotel is situated on top of a pub so if you don't like noise at all on a night, you may be put off by this, but it didn't bother us, with the pub closing at around 12 midnight anyway. One improvement that could be made is for the room to contain scissors so we could open the milk cartons haha. Overall, good London hotel for the piece and the fact that we got the room to purely sleep in
Beaconsfield Hotel was okay! Personnel was very good and helpful
Hotel done the job. Very close to Finsbury Park which makes walking to destinations easier. Beds comfy and clean. Air conditioning could be better as rooms were very warm. Also, room ceiling in one of the rooms had a bad smell coming off of suspected mould.
