We had a pretty average stay at the Beaconsfield Hotel, Finsbury Park, London. It was a good location and had a nice pub underneath it which was great for the evenings. The room was clean and everything worked. I thought it might be noisy from the pub but it wasn't thankfully. I would return

If you just want a bed it is ideal. It was very basic which is what we wanted. A 10 min walk away from nearest tube but buses went past very regular. Retail park opposite for Mcdonalds for breakfast. Room was clean; didn't expect it to be above a pub but was very quiet. Was cold but it was November. Would stay there again in summer

Couldn't sleep because of disturbing neighbours. The first shower I tried in the morning had no water at all, the second one had dripping ice cold water but I finally found a third shower that worked. Coco Pops for breakfast is something a kid would have liked, not me! We never found the kitchen to cook our food and the TV was useless

Beaconsfield Hotel is in good location, easy for buses and getting to the tube. Nice having the pub downstairs

Bedding and room was very, very basic in need of updating as it is very cheap and uncomfortable. Breakfast is cereal pack and UHT milk
