Nice hotel above great pub. Good location with access to the tube and Sainsbury's, free parking possible on weekends near the hotel. Rooms and bathrooms dirty but "normal" for that cheap price. We recommend it to budget traveller couples!

Basic but excellent value and very well located. 5 mins from Manor House tube (don't get off at Finsbury Park!). Very friendly staff. Hard to beat for that kind of money.

I stayed for four nights at this hotel and I definitely don't recommend it! The owner of this hotel were really nice, but the conditions are not acceptable! When I came into the room I first realised that the room wasn't hoovered - hairs everywhere. At least the sink was clean. But then I saw the spots on the blanket and sheet and noticed that there weren't clean at all - disgusting huge marks of a spilled coffee were highly visible on the bed. So I took the sheets and asked for new ones - finally they were clean ones! It was quite helpful to have a fridge in the room I have to say, but nevertheless there was a strange smell in the room because of mould on the ceiling. I bought a spray to get the smell away for a while. And then in the morning I woke up and saw a big waterspot on my bed on the side. Because of the other bathrooms which are directly over my room, the water came through the floor (I guess that's why the drops kept falling down whenever someone had a shower) Talking about bathrooms - the bathroom next to me was dirty! I wonder how they have even the right for their business under these conditions! However, I just came back to the hotel for sleep, I didn't spent much time in the room. But I have stayed at other hostels which are even closer to Leicester Square, Oxford Street etc, it takes ages by bus to get to Manor House! So quite bad if you want to go out at night to take the night bus! I think my opinion is clear! I wouldn't go there if I were you!

It is a simple hotel, but my room was clean and quiet. Drinks, milk, corn flakes and a microwave in my room - and TV! There was a little bit mould in the shower- I ignored it ... for the price it is okay.

I arrived on a Sunday night to check in. The man there was very nice, helped me up to my room, showed me where things were. The room was large with a microwave, fridge and TV. Continental breakfast was cereal and juice, already in the room (which I liked). Milk was in the fridge as well. However, I stayed a week during which we got new cereals and juice every morning and milk when needed, but no cleaning was done. No beds made and after a week, the floor was getting dirty, etc. I would recommend this place if you need a place to crash for a couple nights, but not a long-term stay. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Horrifying place. Avoid like the plague! Real shame though because the staff were really nice, but the place was like a slum. Beds which felt like they had been imported from the Spanish inquisition and rooms which must have appeared in nightmare on elm street. Once again the staff were really pleasant but they really do need to sort the rooms out!

Value For Money. Basic rooms but great location. 8 Lads going to the Darts World Championshsips so it was just for a bed for a couple of hours so perfect. Nice pub downstairs also. Will be there again next year.
