I stayed for three nights at the Beaconsfield Hotel and would stay there again in the future. The room was clean and tidy and with all the facilities promised. The staff were friendly and welcoming but were not obtrusive. The hotel is only five minutes walk from Manor House tube, on the left hand side as you walk up Green Lanes past Finsbury Park. You may also wish to take the 29 bendy bus from near the Hotel to Trafalgar Square and vice versa. After a long night out the N29 will bring you back safely to enjoy the Turkish food in Haringey/Green Lanes.

We stayed in this hotel for seven days. The location of the hotel is near the tube station which is great. cleanliness isn`t high priority. The room was new. In our room was a microwave and fridge. The place was quiet. The hotel is good for sleeping in and the rest of the day to stay out.

Lovely staff. Rooms are exactly what you expect from a budget hotel. No complaints.

If you plan to spend a lot of time in your room The Beaconsfield Hotel would probably not be the best choice for you. If, however, you just want a place to shower and sleep and do not want to spend a huge amount this is a good deal. The rooms are small, the bathrooms, which are not the best are shared with everyone on the floor. The staff are very nice, there is a pub on the ground floor and a shopping centre nearby. The tube is about five minutes walk away.

We stayed for one night. From the outside it's an average pub, but above the pub there are some nice rooms. If you can, go for the ones with shower, because those are brand new on the top of the building. The staff are friendly. The room has nice furniture, a fridge, a microwave, kettle and a TV. Coffee, tea, milk and corn flakes come with the room. The entrance and exit are behind the building and it's a bit strange, but it was ok. The hotel is 5 mins walk from Manor House station and there is a shopping center on the other side of the road.

We had a pretty average stay at the Beaconsfield Hotel, Finsbury Park, London. It was a good location and had a nice pub underneath it which was great for the evenings. The room was clean and everything worked. I thought it might be noisy from the pub but it wasn't thankfully. I would return

If you just want a bed it is ideal. It was very basic which is what we wanted. A 10 min walk away from nearest tube but buses went past very regular. Retail park opposite for Mcdonalds for breakfast. Room was clean; didn't expect it to be above a pub but was very quiet. Was cold but it was November. Would stay there again in summer

Couldn't sleep because of disturbing neighbours. The first shower I tried in the morning had no water at all, the second one had dripping ice cold water but I finally found a third shower that worked. Coco Pops for breakfast is something a kid would have liked, not me! We never found the kitchen to cook our food and the TV was useless

Beaconsfield Hotel is in good location, easy for buses and getting to the tube. Nice having the pub downstairs

Nice hotel above great pub. Good location with access to the tube and Sainsbury's, free parking possible on weekends near the hotel. Rooms and bathrooms dirty but "normal" for that cheap price. We recommend it to budget traveller couples!

Basic but excellent value and very well located. 5 mins from Manor House tube (don't get off at Finsbury Park!). Very friendly staff. Hard to beat for that kind of money.

It is a simple hotel, but my room was clean and quiet. Drinks, milk, corn flakes and a microwave in my room - and TV! There was a little bit mould in the shower- I ignored it ... for the price it is okay.

I arrived on a Sunday night to check in. The man there was very nice, helped me up to my room, showed me where things were. The room was large with a microwave, fridge and TV. Continental breakfast was cereal and juice, already in the room (which I liked). Milk was in the fridge as well. However, I stayed a week during which we got new cereals and juice every morning and milk when needed, but no cleaning was done. No beds made and after a week, the floor was getting dirty, etc. I would recommend this place if you need a place to crash for a couple nights, but not a long-term stay. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Horrifying place. Avoid like the plague! Real shame though because the staff were really nice, but the place was like a slum. Beds which felt like they had been imported from the Spanish inquisition and rooms which must have appeared in nightmare on elm street. Once again the staff were really pleasant but they really do need to sort the rooms out!

Value For Money. Basic rooms but great location. 8 Lads going to the Darts World Championshsips so it was just for a bed for a couple of hours so perfect. Nice pub downstairs also. Will be there again next year.

The Beaconsfield Hotel offers very nice helpful and friendly staff. Hotel was good value for money. Comfortable accommodation for the price. I would definitely book on TravelStay.com next time.
