When I stayed in the Ambassadors Hotel London Kensington a couple of weekends ago, we were pleasantly surprised about the location and the exterior of the hotel, but the rooms were a little bit small. Not uncomfortable but could do with a bit of extra floor space

It was the worst hotel we have ever seen. Small, stuffy smelly rooms. Lousy called breakfast. I will never recommend it to anyone

Staff were accommodating and attentive. A big plus was we were allowed to leave our luggage at reception, during the day while awaiting our check in time. The room was comfortable and clean - we slept 3 adults. We did find it got very hot as the window would only open a few inches. The bathroom needs some serious maintenance - the shower head holder was broken and the plug drained very slowly, tiles were chipped and paint peeling around the door posts. The hotel is situated very close to the Underground and near some very good restaurants and supermarkets. The cooked breakfast was good - on the whole a very good experience!

Our stay from 20 to 26 June 2009 was excellent. The rooms very good. Amila at reception were very helpful at all times and I will definitely tell people about the excellent service we received. Thank you
