Alliance House is a magnificent Grade II listed building, situated in the north of London in the pleasant residential area of Newington Green. This fully restored building was opened in 2004 and offers comfortable, basic lodgings for students and budget travellers looking for a low-cost alternative to hotel accommodation. Directions

By Train:: The closest train station to Alliance House is Canonbury, which offers fast connections to the tube station at Islington, as well as other areas of the city like Camden and West Hampstead.
On Foot:: When you reach Canonbury Station, turn left down Wallace Road, then right onto Grosvenor Avenue. At the end of the road turn left onto Newington Green Avenue and you will come to Newington Green, where Alliance House is located, on the right-hand side of this road.

I recently stayed at Alliance House as I wanted somewhere private to stay for a few days while I was in London. I found Alliance House to be perfect for my needs. The room was very neat and tidy and private. The single bed was very comfortable and I got a few good night's rest. If I wanted to go into London, very frequent buses were on my doorstep and the Overground and tube weren't far away. I would definitely recommend staying at Alliance House

Room was quite cold with only a sheet and cover, but after arguing I was given a duvet. I also had to argue for coat hangers. The room was quite nice and the kitchen, but the bathroom was cramped and flooded with water every time I had a shower. The location and gardens were nice and the TV lounge.
