A clean hotel close to Paddington Railway Station. Nice continental breakfast with friendly staff. Rooms at the Alexandra Hotel on the small side but the price is very competitive.

Alexandra Hotel is such a short walk from Paddington Station that catching the Heathrow Express or whizzing around London via tube is effortless. You can even walk to places like Hyde Park, magical Little Venice and Oxford Street if you book a room here! This once imposing Victorian townhouse has been converted into an intimate, cosy London bed and breakfast offering concierge service and a lift to all floors for your convenience. The well-priced rooms are inclusive of a buffet breakfast too!
As London's Alexandra Hotel is three star, your simply furnished room will be comfortable. The single, twin, double, triple and quad rooms at this London b and b are quite compact, but as you'll spend most of your time out exploring you only need somewhere to sleep anyway! You'll have an ensuite shower room to wake up to in the mornings, as well as standard amenities such as a hairdryer, direct dial phone and coffee/tea making equipment. When you need to rest, you can always lie on your bed and watch your colour TV.

- On Foot:
- Upon arrival at Paddington Tube Station, you should exit onto Praed Street, cross over this road and walk down London Street, which is almost directly in front of you. This will lead you straight onto Sussex Place, where you will find Alexandra Hotel on your left hand side.

Upon arrival I found the staff to be extremely helpful and continued to be so throughout our stay. My only complaint is that the rooms net curtains were unwashed, very grey and mouldy looking. There was no TV remote control or guidance on how to operate the TV, and insufficient amount of towels. Other than that, a very pleasant stay

Nice hotel, but not really worthy of the 3 stars. Our room was small and the shower was next to the bed, without any privacy. Friendly staff
