Our stay was very enjoyable. We read some very negative reviews and some of what we read about tired furnishings is accurate. However, for the price we paid, this is understandable. We received excellent service. The front desk could not do enough for us when the room we booked was not available. They gave us an upgraded room and free breakfast. The room was very clean, excellent sheets and spotless bathroom. The location is fabulous. Easy to access anywhere in London with two tube stations just around the corner. Many good restaurants close and the staff at the bar were very kind and helpful. Happy hour(from 4pm to 7pm) with buy one drink get the next one free was a nice touch as well. Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I found myself in London again

Hyde Park Towers is an ideal location. Very impressive outside the hotel and when you walk into the lobby. I paid 80.00 for 1 nights accommodation and feel completely cheated. The rooms are so small, no air con and no proper window to open, it was a 3 quarter bed which was pushed up against the wall, you had to stand in the bath to shut the bathroom door. We arrived in the afternoon at 1pm and the rooms wasnt ready, so we left luggage and went to a concert and came back later on

FANTASTIC LOCATION FOR HYDE PARK AND EASY ACCESS TO TUBE AND SIGHTSEEING BUS. Hotel room very small and had no opening window plus no air con so extremley stuffy. Clean room. Tea and coffee facilities

The hotel was not full, but they give me a room in the basement, without any view. I asked to change, and I got a very tiny and smelly (urine, or anything else...I even don't want to know) bedroom at 1st floor. The personal at the front desk was rude. At the end of my stay, they weren't able to give me the bill, because their system was "down". They were supposed to send it by e-mail, but they never did, even after asking them by e-mail. If you don't want to be mistreated, run away from this hotel

The front desk, lobby, lounge, bar and restaurant were lovely with modern and comfortable decor and furniture. The free wifi was a good idea, though in some cases it seemed to kill the art of conversation. Sadly the bedroon wasn't in keeping with the lower half of the hotel, with threadbare carpets and rotting window frames. The bathroom was so small you had to virtually get in the bath before you could shut the door. But all that aside, the room was clean, the bed very comfortable and the linen changed on a daily basis, so it made up for the few small niggles. The staff were courteous and polite and I will stay again next time I visit London.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel: good position, good breakfast and good service. The rooms are a little bit small; beds are very confortable.

Great place to stay - lovely, lively area. Room small and a little "tired" but for £52 good value. Bed was fabulous, linen changed every day, staff were excellent, all friendly, all efficient (although the bar TV could be turned down!) Will certainly stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful 6 days

I am very happy with my stay at the hotel. I appreciate especially the clean and comfy bed linen and the free wireless internet access.

The Hyde Park Towers Hotel was good and the staff very kind and professional. Good level of cleanliness. Everything was as described on the web. Fantastic position for visiting the city, close to subway station and to bus stop for the city centre. Only negative fact was that with my husband we booked three months ago asking for a nice bedroom with windows facing nice view and we have been given a "low level" bedroom; thus practically we were in the basement and just below the reception. Everyone can imagine the noise! Thank God we were tired because of visiting the city! We were in bedroom 18, so if you go there check in advance...we would suggest!
