Great stay. The new lounge is awesome and the building is full of character. Near the Boogaloo and just a short ride on the bus to Kentish town and Camden. Great place and we will definitely be returning, hopefully this year. Thanks

Excellent budget accommodation for the summer traveller or longer stay resident. I will definitely be staying here again. The bathing and cooking facilities were comprehensive, modern and clean, and the bedrooms pleasant and comfortable with everything I needed. The staff were helpful and friendly. The common room was a lovely place to watch TV and/or relax on comfy modern settees. I didn't have a laptop with me but I believe there is Wi-Fi throughout the building. The accommodation was quite quiet when I was there even though the building was full or near-full. The locality, Highgate is a wonderful oasis of calm, yet not far from great transport links into the middle of London. The one thing I'd like to change would be I'd have liked a hand towel as well as a bath towel, and or the option of having my towels changed every 2-3 days or so. So if you like having plenty of towels available bring your own to supplement theirs. Otherwise, can't complain and the price is brilliant as well

Excellent value for money. The plumbing and tapware needs attention in some instances

The rooms here are clean and tidy and of a good size. The one I stayed in included a wash basin which was a bonus. Showers are shared, but availability was good (was always free when I went to it). The only downside to this place is that the two closest tube stations to it are via some steep hills (a nasty walk even if you haven't got a suitcase - definitely take a bus and factor in the cost)

Staff all very friendly and nice. Room nice and big. Bathroom fine. Kitchen had limited usable saucepans (all very rusty) but good fridges. Duvet and towel very scratchy
