There was friendly staff and a good breakfast at the Fitzroy hotel. Wi-Fi signal extremely weak from the rooms and if you can get on then you'll be disappointed by the speed.

A reasonable couple of nights stay at the Fitzroy. Very basic services, only had one working plug socket in the room, so had to 'borrow' the one in the hallway on occasions. Only disappointment was the disturbed sleep in the early hours of Saturday morning by our very noisy neighbours. Otherwise a good central place to stay in London

Bad reviews prepared us for the worst so we coped. Linen was clean and despite old rooms tidy enough, but electrics looked dodgy. Food: cheap white bread, but was clean in the kitchen and for the price we survived. No problem when we spoke to staff, no problem to find and the door was opened when we rang the bell

A generally pleasant stay. Good location for central London. Pleasant hotelier, comfortable and quiet, clean room. Breakfast good. Negative points which could be improved on. TV in room was very old and volume switch broken, no remote and channels not tuned in. Some walls could do with a freshen as rather grubby. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would consider using the Fitzroy Hotel again.

Facility a bit dated but adequate for price. Staff courteous and helpful, breakfast was good. For the price Fitzroy Hotel is an ok place to stay

Pictures on hotel website enhance the rooms a lot. Decoration drab and needs a freshen. Pleasant staff, although refused a cooked breakfast one morning as we were at the tail end of breakfast time. We were in a tiny room with a pitiful shower. Only good thing about the room was the clean bedding

We found the hotel easy to get to and clean and tidy if a little tired. The room was adequate but a little small. The breakfast was good and the overall service was excellent

There is a huge hole in the window, and the bathroom tile was in small pieces ... Super English Breakfast! Unfortunately, the reception was a bit cold
