Barkton Rooms is in an excellent location. Friendly cleaning staff
Great stay in Barkston Rooms. I booked 2 nights in a single room and everything was fine. I would recommend this London hostel
Barkston Rooms is located in a beautiful, secure area. Staff available, hostel open 24 hours. To recommend
Barkston Rooms is very basic, just bed in the room, no other furniture, wooden floor. But upon arrival I asked for a room with own bathroom instead of the share bathroom I had booked so that might have something to do with it. Also no towels at all! I was very impressed with easy availability of WiFi in bedroom, many cheaper chains don’t offer it. All was scrupulously clean. Very close to Earls Court Tube. I didn't ask for food. No sound proofing in any way but on the other hand, generally very quiet
Great price! Stayed in an 8 bed female dorm room with private bathroom (Room 1302H - 2nd floor of main building) Really appreciated the private bathroom as didn’t like the idea of sharing a bathroom with the whole hostel. Room was clean and bathroom was very modern, however there was no mirror! Not in the room or the bathroom! EIGHT ladies in a room with NO MIRROR! HORRENDOUS!!! Hahaha, it wasn't too bad as I had a personal mirror but it’s definitely needed. Will give a rating of 4/5 as there’s no lock on sliding bathroom door, shower leaks a little and there’s motion sensor lighting that switch on when door is opened but also switches off after a few minutes of inactivity (eg: sitting on the toilet lol or in the shower cubicle) You have to wave for the light to switch on again. Quite annoying whilst showering having to open cubicle door to wave light back on! But I guess saving energy/the planet is the most important aim afterall! Would definitely book Barkston Rooms again
