Very basic, did not feel like a 3* hotel, more like 2*. The bloke on reception don't really say a lot. The room I was in had a view of a load of black bin bags, it's ok if u really do just want a place to crash.
The staff were welcoming and nice. They helped me anytime I wanted to get around the city. The service was very good. The room was cozy and clean as well. I would definitely recommend my family and friends to book St Mark Hotel London
I really enjoyed my stay at St Mark Hotel London the service was friendly and efficient, the room was more that I expected and I was very happy with it. I would definitely stay there again as well as recommend it to friends and family
While not a flashy or ritzy hotel, the St. Mark was delightful. Particular kudos must be given to the staff who were always pleasant, helpful and kind (and didn’t have that snootiness that some more expensive hotel staff have). The room had a few nice amenities that I wasn’t expecting from a budget establishment, such as an in-room safe, and the location cannot be bettered. I enjoy walking, however I’m not as fit as I once was, and the fact that Hyde Park is a ten minute walk by my laborious pace was an extra delight. I was a little miffed at having to pay for WiFi, hence the four (rather than five) stars, however I understand that they must recoup their costs somehow, and since the rest of the hotel was so good for the price, I didn’t create a fuss. I would certainly recommend this hotel to all and sundry
Reasonably priced London accommodation with friendly staff
