Description |

Tony’s House Hotel is impressive on the outside and old, clean and adequate on
the inside; after all it is an inexpensive London hotel! If you don’t mind
staying somewhere with tired decor that offers 24 hour room access then this
hotel will do just fine. The great thing about Tony’s House Hotel is its
location; it overlooks a picturesque garden square, it’s a couple of minute’s
walk away from Paddington Train and Tube Station and it’s surrounded by
attractions like Hyde Park and Marble Arch.

Room was standard: two beds with fresh linen and a sink with mirror overhead. The toilet, while several floors below our room, was clean. The showers were horrible. There was a half inch of standing water outside of the shower where there was not a drain and it remained this way for all four days of our stay (I'm assuming the single shared shower wasn't cleaned the whole time). For a short stay, the location next to Paddington Station might be convenient, but several nights using a disgusting shared shower was not a good idea

Breakfast was adequate. Service was decent. The bed in the room was hard as concrete. The general impression of the room was poor.

I stayed at Tonys House Hotel when the London marathon was on... I thought the room was very basic, but clean.. The location was spot on, a stones throw from Paddington Station. Lots of places to eat and drink on your doorstep. Great value for money.!! Recommended!

The service was great, staff exceptionally friendly. The room was ok but was a bit small and could benefit from modernising. Overall, a good experience.
