To get to The Ballantrae Hotel, leave Waverley Station onto North Bridge and turn left. Continue until you come to the end and turn right onto Waterloo Place. Cross the road straight away and follow Leith Street around to the left. Take an immediate left onto James Craig Walk and continue straight on, as the street becomes Elder Street. At the end of Elder Street turn right onto York Place and you will find The Ballantrae Hotel at number 8.
