Description |
|
 |
 |
|
|
Just because Surtees Hotel is cheap, this doesn’t mean that the service is poor!
In fact this inexpensive family run hotel prides itself on always trying to
ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. Of course, you won’t get all the
luxuries of a really expensive hotel, but if you want somewhere within walking
distance of places like Buckingham Palace that doesn’t cost the earth, this is
the place to stay. You will get continental breakfast in the breakfast room and
there’s a TV lounge too!

Thought the hotel was better than I expected for a 2 star hotel. Customer service was good- friendly and hospitable. The room was well presented and continental breakfast was adequate. Warm shower and central heating. On the other hand, for those who came late for breakfast, they have to wait in a queue until a table is free. Also, the walls are quite thin- so, there is a possible noise disturbance from your next door neighbour during the night. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. Will definitely consider to come back again

I really enjoyed my stay at the Surtees Hotel in the very centre of London. They gave me a good breakfast and the room was just what I needed. It was smallish but not uncomfortable and everyone was so friendly, especially considering as I was on my own. Everything was clean and I would definately stay here again!

Bearing in mind that Surtees Hotel is a 2 star hotel, I was absolutely pleased with it and would stay there again should the opportunity arise. Although the rooms are quite small and someone may mind really tiny bathrooms, but they were clean. Every single member of staff we've dealt with was very welcoming, helpful and with a smile on their face which is always nice. I'm giving 4/5 because of the slight maintenance issues

My fella and I stayed here a single night before departing on an early morning trip from Victoria. We then returned four days later for a three night stay sightseeing in London. Considering the location and the price we were very impressed with the service, cleanliness, breakfast and room. We will certainly book here again.

Pleasant welcome from landlady of Surtees Hotel. Room was clean and well presented. Shower was hot and heating was adequate. We had selected a 5 bed room. Room was small but this was no concern since all we used it for was to sleep.
