St Andrews Tourist Hostel
St Andrews Tourist Hostel is a friendly, family run hostel located in the heart of the famous old town and just five minutes from the train and bus station as well as a number of tourist attractions. The historic town of St Andrews is most famous for its prestigious Royal and Ancient Golf Course but there are a number of other attractions in the town, including the 12th century St Andrews Cathedral, St Andrews Castle, St Rules Tower, Holy Trinity, St Mary’s House and the Sea Life Centre.
St Andrews Tourist Hostel offers affordable hostel accommodation with a range of convenient facilities. During your stay you will be able to access the hostel 24 hours a day and take advantage of the bike store, luggage store, pay and display car parking and laundry facilities. You will also be able to use the internet and fax facilities, as well having access to shared bathroom facilities, the TV lounge with DVD and the recently modernised shared kitchen, where you can prepare your own meals.

Attractions
During your stay at St Andrews Tourist Hostel you will be within easy reach of a number of interesting local attractions. The town is most famous for St Andrews Golf Course, known as being the home of golf and host to the British Open Championship on a number of occasions. There are a number of other local attractions also worth visiting and these include St Rules Tower, Holy Trinity, St Mary’s House, St Andrews Cathedral, St Andrews Castle and the Sea Life Centre.

- By Bus:
- From Leuchars Train Station take a bus to St Andrews Bus Station. If you prefer you can hail a taxi.
- On Foot:
- Once you reach St Andrews Bus Station, make a right turn onto City Road, from where you should make a left turn onto St Mary’s Place where St Andrews Tourist Hostel is located.

The hostel was fantastic. The staff member was really helpful and welcoming. The bathroom was clean, as were the rooms. We could not fault the hostel. It is a great location, especially if you want to enjoy the St Andrews night life
