A typical dorm room at Smart Russell Square Hostel
 |
 |
Smart Russell Square is a really friendly modern hostel with a range of state of the art facilities. You can work out in the private gym, and when you lay down for the night you'll do so in comfort, as you'll have your very own pod bed to sleep in. You can keep your restaurant bills down by preparing your snacks and meals in the guest kitchen, socialise with new friends and fellow guests in the common and games rooms, and unwind in front of the 42 inch plasma screen in the television lounge. |

However, at some point you're going to want to explore other parts of London and can do this from nearby Kings Cross Station and the even nearer Russell Square Tube Station. There are a number of major attractions just a short walk from the hostel and these include the British Library, British Museum and Dickens' House Museum. Just the breakfast could be better with orange juice and the washing machine is a little bit expensive. Good hostel clean and relaxing

I can't find any big problems. Reasonable price. Every bed had a curtain which was really good to me

This is an excellent hostel right in the heart of Bloomsbury, which is a nice area and safe to walk around. The staff at Smart Russell Square were very friendly and helpful and the facilities were clean and of a high standard. The wireless internet was free and had full signal. Free on-street parking after 8pm. Lots of local attractions, bars, restaurants, gardens, easy for transport by bus, tube and taxi. I would stay at Smart Hostel again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high standard of budget accommodation in Central London.

Very good location, barely 3 minutes walk from the Tube at Russell Square Station. Few cafes around the area therefore good supply of food, not too expensive too. Downside is the wifi barely works, and high chances that you'll get lost inside the hostel the first day

Friendly staff, free wifi, free breakfast all for a 13 quid. Only minus point is that sleeping at night can be troublesome with people entering and leaving the dorm at odd hours of the day. Well worth it though.
