Skyways Hotel London is a very basic accommodation but ideal if you need to be based near Heathrow Airport. This family run hotel complete with parking is also perfectly situated as it’s on the A4 which leads to the airport. It’s also handy for the M25, M4 and M40. It’s so close to Slough Train Station that you can get to Central London in around 40 minutes too. Book a basic room and enjoy your English breakfast before heading off to Heathrow and beyond or into London town.
The basic 2 star rooms are adequate and the facilities sparse but this is reflected in the more than reasonable room prices. Facilities include central heating, alarm clock, hairdryer, colour TV, direct dial phone and trouser press. There are tea and coffee making facilities available in each room for you to enjoy and you can book a single, double, twin, triple or six person room here at Skyways Hotel.
Obviously, one of the main things that attracts guests to stay at Skyways Hotel is its proximity to Heathrow Airport and several motorways. Slough, where the hotel sits, has a bustling shopping centre and you’ll also find beautiful Windsor nearby, where you can visit Windsor Castle and Legoland. If you take a train from Slough to London Paddington, you can easily swap onto the tube network to get to the Portobello Road Market in Notting Hill and Kensington High Street.

Basic doesn’t cover it. This hotel is as close to a hostel as can be. Although, it is very cheap. I found it too far from central London to be useful, but for Heathrow I guess it’s fine. I don’t mind a bit of rough but this was really pushing it. The price was what tempted me. Room was unclean and so was the bathroom, which is a cardinal sin for a hotel if you ask me. The bar, which does provide a merciful drink, does get loud and a bit rowdy but it didn’t keep me up. I can’t put my hand on my heart and recommend the Skyways, but if I need Heathrow and am stuck then I wouldn’t say definitely avoid it either
2 star hotel - did exactly what it said on the tin. Spacious room with comfy beds, would have preferred duvets to blankets. Room was clean and towels, tea and coffee, tv with remote supplied. Very quiet considering it was near a main road. Reasonably priced evening meal and an adequate breakfast, didn't go away hungry. Staff at Skyways Hotel were polite and friendly.
Nice and comfortable, run by very kind people, a very enjoyable stay, I recommended Skyways Hotel to everybody
The hotel was ok. It is a bit far from the Central London but still easy reachable because of well-connected trains. There is a bus going to train station. This bus stop is just 1 minute away from the hotel. However people travelling with heavy bags should be careful because there is no lift. We had breakfast which was ok. It is not the best but edible nonetheless.
Skyways Hotel was great and the most reasonably priced in the area. A bit farther from the city than I expected. The staff was very nice. The room was cozy and warm. Being from Chicago, I appreciated the radiator. Quite the homely touch
