Good price, but the Campus is situated in a not elegant suburban area (no restaurants, no bars, many take away shops, one or two supermarket) and it takes more or less half an hour to go to the centre by metro. Luckily there is a metro stop (three lines available) very close and a bus stop as well. The staff was nice. Be aware that there are no lifts, so you have to carry your luggage on your own upstairs and downstairs. I had a room with bathroom at third floor and I noticed that the carpet of the stairs, the corridor and the room was dirty. In the room there was only a very, very pale neon. The only way to light the room was opening the curtains (but in this case you could be seen perfectly from the building in front of yours and, anyway, it is totally useless to open the curtains when outside it is dark) or opening the door of the bathroom where the light was good: but the door of the bathroom didn't remain opened on its own! You had to block it with something (like a chair or a basket) to prevent it from closing! I wonder how the students can study there without light! I was also disturbed more then once during the night or the morning by people staying in the rooms close to mine and speaking loud and slamming the doors. The fridge at the beginning seemed not to work regularly so I asked for a check that they did the same day. After this check the fridge worked but it was noisy. The cleaners cleaned and tidied up my room every day except in the weekends, but in 11 days they changed only once the towels because I expressly requested

I really enjoyed my stay at Queen Mary's room but I have a suggestion. It would be better to clean the room at least one time even the guest stay only one week

I have stayed for 2 weeks in a single en suite bathroom at Queen Mary University. I found the accommodation clean, located in a good area and very safe for single traveller. Towel provided even if not changed every day. It's good value for money and I highly recommend it

Very close to the tube station. The rooms are big and clean. You can have internet connection in your room if you pay a little money. I definitely recommend the place
