Parkstead House

From June to September when the students of Roehampton University have returned home for the summer (and at limited capacity throughout the year), rooms at the Parkstead House in Roehampton are available for you to book. This accommodation is ideal for families, students, and tourists on a budget who want to be close to Central London but don’t like hustle and bustle. You can book a single ensuite room here, or a flat that sleeps up to 10 people if you are travelling in a large group.

Every room at Parkstead House is modern and bright, with an internet connection in your room for a small fee. You will share a kitchen with tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a relaxing lounge area. If you don’t feel like cooking you can go to the dining room which is open on weekdays. Here you can buy snacks and drinks and hot meals are served between 12 and 2pm every day. You will also find a coin operated launderette on site so there’s no excuse for not having any clean clothes!

Attractions

In the grounds of this college campus you will find the original Parkstead House, a grade I listed villa first built for the 2nd Earl of Bessborough. You can also travel to Barnes Wetlands Centre and Kew Gardens with ease. Parkstead House is well connected to Central London by bus, train, and tube.

My friend and I booked a couple of rooms at Parkstead House as we were attending a wedding nearby. We liked the place, especially the location which was really attractive. Rooms are basic but have ensuite and were clean and tidy
