Good basic hotel. Good location. Rooms are tiny but adequate for a short stay, nice helpful staff, we shall use this hotel again in the future

Being a two star hotel we didn't expect anything too special. The rooms however, were extremely small (about 8 feet square) and a very tight fit for us. The shower was so small that it was really difficult to wash properly (and I'm not a big person). But in fairness, with a bed for the night, and our own toilet and shower that's basically all we needed. We asked for a quiet room and although it was away from the traffic we found it almost impossible to sleep, all the doors in the hotel slammed loudly and with other guests leaving and returning at all hours of the day and night and then revelling through the early hours we found that by 4.00 am we'd still had no sleep so we decided to put the TV on and turn up the volume to cover all of the other noises going on around us. We eventually managed some sleep but only with the TV on. The biggest downfall was the lack of an English Breakfast. The hotel information when we booked said that we could get an English Breakfast in the cafe on the opposite side of the road but there isn't even a cafe there let alone one for us to get a breakfast. Had we known this when booking it's unlikely that we would have gone there as we like to venture out to see the sites and a good breakfast sees us through most of the day. Trying to get an English meal anywhere in the area was almost impossible. The location of the hotel was close to the underground which was a great advantage. We had clean towels each day and found the staff friendly enough but I'm not too sure if we would stay there again. Although the hotel management can't really be responsible for noisy guests they could at least put closers on all of the doors to prevent them from slamming and keeping other people awake for most of the night

Extremely convenient location, pleasant staff. However the room was very small and in the hot weather too hot, had to have window open, but then it was very noisy [traffic all night] but it was cheap so you don't expect everything, the breakfast arrangement of a basket to put in fridge worked ok, this would be fine for 1 or 2 nights, not so good for a longer stay, would probably return

I travelled around Europe a lot and the Marble Arch Inn was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was extremely small, bathroom was the size of my office desk. It felt like a barbie house. the breakfast was a joke!!! Great location but that's it

Great location. No noise from the outside. Breakfast was generally good except for the croissants which tasted old and we often could not eat them. The staff were pleasant and always helpful. Rooms could use some more shelving. Overall for London the price and location was good

The facilities are all good as well as the service. However, the milk for the breakfast was sour and I think it is a good idea to provide some butter or spread for the croissants.

We spent 4 nights at March Arch Inn Hotel. Simple comfort, cheap and very well located. The room was tidy yet small. I would stay here again on my next trip to London.

Very nice hotel; the room is small but clean and very nice. We stayed only 3 nights and it was great. Very nice people; good conditions; good price; central hotel; we had restaurant, pub, Oxford St. near the hotel. I recommend it to everyone who needs a place to sleep after a loooong day in London. After 8-9 o'clock in the morning it was a little bit noisy (the walls are not so good); but we didn't go there to sleep all day long :)

PROS: Wonderful central location, safe neighbourhood, excellent access to public transport. Despite being tiny, the rooms were clean, in good working order, nice; the towels and linens were clean, shower was fine, wi-fi worked, friendly staff, especially the night receptionist. CONS: didn't like the room key system, whereby anyone could ask receptionist for any key without adequate identification - felt somewhat insecure but was fine in the end.

The rooms were tiny. We booked a double room and ended up with a twin room and we could almost stand in the middle of the room and touch all four walls. This was certainly the case in the bathroom which was more like a wet room with a toilet and sink. The breakfast basket comes with cereal but without milk which you have to collect the night before and eat in your room.

Basic small rooms, very clean, good that has 24hr reception, basic breakfast but good. Well heated. Shower and toilets compact and on a different floor. Would happily stay there again.

We enjoyed our stay at the Marble Arch Inn. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and it was warm and clean. The room was very small, but you can’t expect too much for the price!! I would definitely recommend this place if you just want somewhere to sleep at a very reasonable price in the centre of London, it is literally 2 min walk from Oxford Street. The breakfast is ok; you get cereal or muffin with fruit juice and a croissant and yoghurt which you keep in the fridge in your room. The rooms also have tea/coffee making facilities a television and hairdryer.

The room was basic beds and shower room clean but curtains both on the way up the stairs and in the room were grotty! Breakfast very poor no choice of cereals no butter or jam to go with the croissant. Whoever was on the reception seemed inhospitable. We would not wish to stay there again and would not recommend it to anyone else.

The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were very clean and tidied every day. The location is fantastic as it's only a five minute walk to Oxford Street. I would recommend this B&B to anyone who wants to stay in a warm, friendly and clean place but is happy with basic accommodation.

Very friendly staff. The hotel doesn't have a breakfast room; they give a basket the night before to be eaten in the room which does not have space to seat. Not for fussy people. Very basic.

The best things about the hotel were the kind and helpful staff and the central location. The room and en-suite were clean, although tiny and very hot as it was summer. Great area for good restaurants etc.

My sister and I had a very nice stay at the Marble Arch Inn. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel welcome. The breakfast basket was better than expected and better than what I've experienced other places in London. The location is brilliant and in a clean, safe area. For central London I thought it was excellent value!

The location of Marble Arch Inn was very convenient being close to Oxford Street and Hyde Park. However, the room, taking into account that it was a double, was very small. The TV`S picture was very fuzzy, and even though we stayed for 8 nights, the bedsheets were not changed every day unless I asked. However, overall good value so I'd book Marble Arch Inn again if I have business in London again.
