Room was nice! Bed's were comfortable however it was a bit hot at night as only 1 window opened. Staff were friendly and someone being at reception 24hours was really good as we were able to come home late without any hassle. Only downside was the shower. It was nothing more than a trickle. We were unable to wash our hair using it so had to resort to using the sink and a jug. Other than that no complaints

I will not be using this hotel again because of the following; 1. Room looked dirty and tired. 2. Bathroom door latch and lock broken. 3. All window latches broken, one window was jammed slightly open. 4. Shower did not work properly, water only dribbled out of five holes. 5. Full English breakfast advertised as included in the cost, but was not available until 8am, which is when I start work. So, I went to work hungry.

Hotel is a bit tired but very entertaining. We laughed all weekend. The guy who I think does everything in the hotel could not do enough for us and very attentive. We ended up in the attic. The room was clean but the bedding was un ironed. We had a kettle but no base one cup & just three tea bags, two in a packet and one out. No soap in the bathroom so good job I took mine. There was no double glazing and the noise from the traffic was unbelievable, I didn't sleep much at all. We went down to breakfast and there were glasses but no juice, no condiments but cereal and coffee was out on the table. We asked what was for breakfast and he said what do you want and would have done anything that we asked for so we had bacon and eggs but he couldn't do toast. We asked for brown sauce and got ketchup we asked for marmalade and got jam which we found hilarious. Breakfast was cooked fresh and was lovely. We were also entertained by the resident parrot. All in all it wasn't too bad and certainly gave us something to talk about. Would I go again? Probably not
