delightful and grand Georgian building that it occupies. It was commissioned in
1824 by Joseph Twigg, a cotton mill owner. Thanks to recent renovations the
original external and internal splendour of this building has been restored for

Travel on the M8 and exit at junction 28/28a/29. Get onto the A726 towards
Paisley and follow this road into the town centre for approximately one and a
half miles. Turn left on to New Sneddon Street, where you will find Lomond

From Paisley Gilmour Street Train Station exit onto Gilmour Street itself and
turn to your left. Walk straight ahead, cross Old Sneddon Road and walk up
Sneddon Street in front of you. At the end of this road cross the A726 and the
road directly in front of you is New Sneddon Street. This is where you will find
Lomond Hotel.
