"you get what you pay for it". I found nice neat and clean hotel after long time in London, which literally forced me to come back again... definitely thanks for great service

The staff were very kind and helped as much as they could. Most of the time didn't know what was going on. We were a big group and weren't placed in the right houses to start with, we are just glad we knew each other and were able to swap around! But the little two bedroom house was a great size for me and my girls. We had a great time getting ready whilst watching x factor on the plasmers. However the cleanliness of the house was awful the bathroom looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a few weeks, the bed sheets were not very clean at all, the washing up was left from the people before and none of the cutlery was clean. It done for a few hours sleep and a place to get ready but will not be returning

We booked 2 double rooms with private bathroom for 5 days. Regarding the hotel, not much to say, you get what you pay for. The rooms and bathrooms look small but it is ok; you have the bed, the side table, a desk or a chest of drawers, a cupboard with hangers. It is really clean. As said in other reviews, if you don't ask they won't change your bed sheets and towels, but we didn't care for that. Not many cooking tools, but oven, gas, microwave, fridge and freezer in the guest kitchen make it easy to cook. 1 table and 4 chairs in the kitchen, a few plates and mugs, maybe a pan or two. The positives: Nice staff, clean rooms, excellent place (10min from tube, Jubilee and Central lines, with a supermarket on the way). Soundproof from the outside street. Wireless connection ok, heating too. The negatives: No shower gel in the bathroom, well, not much to reproach them in fact! The only nuisance came from the other customers, slamming the front door and speaking aloud at 4AM when coming back and at 6AM when going out. Anyway, nice place to recommend if you look for a cheap but nice place to stay around London.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Friendly staff, nice and relaxed. Only a 10 minute walk from the station. I stayed in a triple room with private bathroom. Bedroom was nice and warm with LCD TV and Sky (awesome!) Bathroom was very small though, but good enough. Shower was regular sized. This was easy enough to find; exit left at Stratford Station, keep on until you reach traffic lights, cross over to Morrisons and walk along the pavement which will go left. Lodge 51 is on Romford Road.
