It's based in Stratford, with Plaistow Tube Station a short walk away, so it's really easy to get to attractions like the Tower of London and the Houses of Parliament. As Kings Head Guest House is located in Stratford, you should visit the shopping centre here, as well as places like the Museum of Fine Art, the Theatre Royal Stratford East and the site of the Olympic Park. When you want to take a trip to well known tourist attractions like Big Ben and Madame Tussauds, these are only a short tube journey away via Plaistow Tube Station. You will also have easy access to Stratford Train Station, where a brand new Channel Tunnel Rail Link is opening in 2009.

- The nearest tube station to Kings Head Guest House is Plaistow. If you travel on the District or Hammersmith & City line, you can get off here.
- On Foot:

Very good, with friendly staff. Clean bedding and bath towels. Quiet place. 24 hour bus. I recommend!

The accommodation was fine but there was only one shared bathroom in the floor. The place was quiet and there was three shops where you could get some basic things needed.

The Kings Head Guest House is basic but clean. I paid £29 (on the internet) for a warm double room which has to be fantastic value for money. The mattress wasn't great but I slept okay. I'd certainly stay there again.

I found Kings Head Guest House a pleasant place to stay in. We stayed as a large party of five and phoned a week before to request that we were given rooms as close to each other as possible, which they did for us. The prices, I thought, were very reasonable. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The only downsides were that there was one bathroom per floor (for those who didn't have en suite bathrooms), and that the fire escape lead out to a site completely covered in rubble and wood, which didn't look very safe
