I thought the Kensington Close hotel was over-priced. I was expecting more...

I stayed at the Kensington Close Hotel for 4 nights. Kensington Close Hotel was very good value for a hotel in this class and more than adequate; let’s face it, most people are only there to sleep at night and have a breakfast! Bed was comfortable, room clean and very quiet, if a bit small. Bathroom very good with newish suite; towels could have been better quality as they were rather thin. The staff at Kensington Close Hotel were polite, friendly and helpful and obviously well-trained. The buffet breakfast was superb with such a large choice. Plates could have been hotter. I would definitely recommend Kensington Close Hotel and will go back there again. It is situated in a pleasant part of Kensington approximately a 1 minute walk to the High Street Underground station. As I checked out, I complimented the Reception staff about the Kensington Close Hotel and they were obviously delighted; far too many people just complain all the time!

Everything about the Kensington close hotel was fine, except for the size of the bedroom which was cramped.

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend at the Kensington Close hotel and it was brilliant! We thought we were at the wrong hotel at first on account of it looking so expensive. The rooms were designed well with lots of extras and the bathroom (with bath) was behind a huge mirror which slid across sideways! In the morning we had a massive buffet breakfast with everything you could possibly want to eat at breakfast available. The concierge were very helpful and found me some plasters and there is also a hotel bar. I would DEFINITELY recommend the Kensington Close hotel as it is superb.

The rooms at the Kensington Close Hotel are relatively small, but found them to be adequate for my needs. Selected this hotel for the extras, i.e. swimming pool, fitness centre, etc. Loved the closeness of the Kensington tube station at the end of the street. Simple, but good.
