Narrow rooms, without any chairs, tables, or places to hang your clothes (except a spartan metal iron closet without lockers). Floor was dusty. Very thin mattresses. Only one thin blanket provided per bed. Thin pillows. Four bed rooms are in the underground floor (no view of Hyde Park). Bathroom was reasonably clean and inside the room however the sink was defect (water took ages to flush away). Towels are charged 5 pounds each. Location is central, but not recommended for the most touristic part of London. Continental breakfast, yet very poor. I would recommend spending a bit more to get something better. A returned safety deposit was requested on top of the room fare, 10 pounds per person. Staff were pretty ok.

Receptionist very kind. Rooms poor! Cleaning was okay but shower had a leakage fixed by some silicon. Banging doors all the time also at night times. 2 times disturbed by loud people and music in room 301 even after a warning from Jake at the reception. Breakfast room absolutely crappy.

The room was very basic and small, but good value for the money we paid. The continental breakfast was very good. Staff at Hyde Park View were good on the whole.
