Very friendly service. Room was a little bit too small for 4 people

Good location but relatively small poor quality rooms, however they were clean. I expected it to be basic because of the price we paid. Nice restaurant but fairly noisy during the night. The room was very hot and there was no facility to adjust the central heating. All that said, the staff were cheerful and helpful.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our bags were carried to our room for us. The room was very clean and tea and coffee supplies were replenished. Continental breakfast was perfectly adequate. The location is great with good restaurants within easy walking distance. We have stayed at this hotel before and will certainly return there if we visit London again.

I was horrified at the size of the room, which was not big enough for even a single room. The bathroom was also extremely small and the décor of the room was outdated. The sheets were not up to scratch. No lift so had to walk 3 flights of stairs, which was very steep and the banisters were loose.I struggle for anything positive to say other than the fact that the staff were friendly at the reception.

You get what you pay for, which is to say not very much for central London, a tiny ground floor room with the tube trains rumbling away below every few minutes. The bathroom was a minuscule plastic pod; you almost had to sit on the toilet to use the basin, like caravanning. There was nowhere to put anything except a rickety corner enclosure (I would not call it a wardrobe). I'm a teacher and always try to say something positive in a report. Okay, the staff were polite enough and the shower worked well. But I feel that, for not much extra outlay, they could have made more effort, such as putting up a hook or two to hang your coat on. Three stars? That's just a joke. We will not be returning, for ANY money. We have determined to ask to see the room in future before committing. There were vacancies here but I can't believe they had anything worse than this to offer and if we'd had a room on an upper floor we might not have had to bear with the trains.
