Hostel 639 Reviews
The bathrooms are dirty and smell. Our room wasn't cleaned enough plus the bedding and mattress were dirty. It is cheap, but for bad conditions.
My stay at Hostel 639 was okay. Upon arrival in my room, staying guests were talking about locking the room door from inside as place was not safe enough and I must say they put me in a bit of worried mood. The room was clean, and I found my bed comfortable. The kitchen facilities are fine, but the system of having to pay a deposit for cooking equipment makes it a bit complicated. The kitchen window seems to be either left open or broken and it was cold there. Also not having these kitchen open up earlier than 10:00am makes it difficult to have your own coffee and breakfast before going to work. The staff at reception were nice and helpful. Other rooms in the hostel were making laud noise on Saturday night until approx 1:30 am but I believe that night security did try to stop these disturbances. Thank you
Our stay at this London hostel was not one of the best. After 2 weeks I can say that some of the staff is not very welcoming. The rooms are small especially the first one we stayed in. In the kitchen you don't have nothing to cook except 2 ovens and one microwave. In conclusion I can't say that we will be back very soon
Really cheap London hostel, get what you pay for, just a cheap bed
