Good location close to tube however you get what you pay for. Small room, basic facilities, reasonable breakfast. Ok for simply a place to sleep after exploring London all day/night.

I stayed at Grand Tourist Hotel last October and have just booked to stay here again. Very very basic accomodation and bathroom facilities but its cheap, central, pretty clean and next to the tube station so I think it makes this an excellent place to stay within the centre of London.

There is only one reason to stay at Grand Tourist Hotel: It's location, wich was perfect. But the rooms where tiny, the toilets too. You could hear everything happening to the next room, even people talking! The breakfast was very poor too. At least it seemed clean and the staff were very friendly.

The location of Grand Tourist Hotel was perfect, very close to the main attractions, but particularly the fast food restaurants. Although there weren't McMuffins on the breakfast menu, it was more than adequate. I found the rooms basic, and the decor left a lot to be desired. But all in all I got good customer service which is important in any organisation.

We got what we paid for in the Grand Tourist Hotel - the rooms could have been cleaner and the bathroom more modern but the free breakfast of coffee, orange juice, cereal, toast, egg and beans more than made up for it! The staff were friendly enough and it's a great location. Good tip would be to go for a shared bathroom as I think these are a bit nicer than the private ones!

The Grand Tourist Hotel is described as "budget" which is exactly what it is. Do not expect luxury here. The room we stayed in (a triple with private bathroom)was functional, although rather cramped and badly laid out in an 'L' shape. It seemed clean, if a little dated looking, a bit cheap and shabby. The walls are thin, you could hear a bit of noise and we were woken up early by some sort of water boiler noise. The breakfast was ok, consisting of cereal, toast, tea, coffee, juice and a plate of slightly odd tasting beans with scrambled egg. It was fine for the price I guess - you get what you pay for. It is not somewhere you would want to spend much time in, but if you just want a bed for the night in a convenient location, it was fine.

Grand Tourist hotel was very basic, not so nice and I would say it is ok for backpackers and if you are on a tight budget like me. It was very cheap and has a very good location near the Earls Court tube, close to the museums and the attractions.
