I liked the site near the tube station and buses. It was clean and the price very moderate for London hotels. There was a problem with renovation of gas (?) in showers; hopefully it will solved in due time. It was like going back to student times (not in Finland, though), and perfect for a short stay. Goldsmiths House was convenient for the use of internet; I suggest, however, that you update the Windows to W. 7. Thank you TravelStay

Goldsmiths House provided very acceptable short stay budget London accommodation for the price. It's in a really good location. The staff were most friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very clean, if rather basic, and the other facilities were as expected for a hostel. The only comment I'd make was that the room was too warm. The radiator was off but hot water pipes running round two walls of the room were always hot. This might make it very cosy in winter but on a mild night made it too hot. Also it would be a good idea for Travelstay to make it clear in their listing that towels are not provided at Goldsmiths House

I enjoyed my stay at Goldsmiths House. Everything was well kept, clean, quiet and the facilities were good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideally set too, with transport and shopping not far, as well as being in walking distance from Oxford St. I would recommend to anyone of my female friends who are looking for good value accommodation in London at a reasonable price

Friendly reception staff, very clean, nice that Goldsmiths House is women-only (made going to the bathroom much easier!). Kitchens accessible and easy to use. Room well-equipped for the size. WiFi very expensive - nearly £15, it would have lasted a month but I was only there three days. I could not see how to access a fridge.

Goldsmith's House was just what I needed: Convenient location, own bedroom, organised, even with self-catering facilities, and all at a very reasonable price. The building is attractive and it has an outdoor garden, which my room overlooked. Was very quiet compared to most London hotels/hostels in this price range. I will be booking Goldmiths House again.
