Safe and secure, 24hr Reception with excellent staff, one of whom talked me through the route from Euston Station as I was a little lost. I am hoping to go back early December. Goldsmiths House Reviews
I was recently in London on a work trip and had the opportunity to stay at this residence. It was a most enjoyable stay, I found Goldsmiths House to be quiet, safe, friendly and all-in-all a great place to rest in after a busy workday. The reception was great, too. There is a kitchen, two lounges (with a piano as well as computers with internet) and a lovely garden as well. There was also a sink in my room, no towels though! Certainly, it has to be remembered that this is not a hotel, there are students lodging here on a much longer basis. But if what one is looking for is simply a good rest, privacy, as well as easy walking distance to St. Pancras/Euston. I would strongly recommend Goldsmiths to anyone
No mirror in my room which was annoying as I only had a small handbag size one with me. No mirrors in shower room or toilets either, just one by staircase on 2nd floor, not much help in that location! It would be helpful if there were hair dryers to borrow (leaving a small refundable deposit). My locker was short of a teaspoon and only had one saucepan. Room was clean and it's helpful to have a wash basin in room. Enjoyable shower - powerful spray and hot. Disappointed that kitchen closes between 9.30 and 11.30 am. I was caught out first morning and had to wait until after 11.30 for my first coffee of the day! Could it not be cleaned during afternoon or for a shorter period of time
Clean room, friendly staff and full-time residents. I was in London for a course and just needed a place to sleep so it was great. Do take your own towel, they don't have any! Also take tea bags/coffee and milk, there's a kitchen but you need your own supplies
Friendly, helpful staff. Clean room, bathroom and showers. Good location for Camden centre. Would definitely stay at Goldsmiths House again
