Great place, friendly service. However, I would like to see more attention given to some important details, like the washing machine/dryer units for instance. I've spent a lot of wasted money on those two machines, which could have been avoided with some simple instructions regarding settings that could be attached next to them. Whenever I've asked, the helpers in particular just wave it off as something that should be understood when things like which setting work best are not really all that straightforward at all. Also, no queries were made about the incident, so I wasn't refunded any of this money as it was presumed to be my fault. Besides these issues, however, I would readily recommend Goldsmiths House to any guest looking for accommodation in the heart of the city

Excellent London hostel - friendly, clean, good value, safe. I stayed 3 nights. Was really impressed how they even provided individual cutlery, plates, bowl, saucepans, sieve etc. in my own locked cupboard so I could self cater. Brilliant central location just off Regents Park and accessible to most tube lines. For great value, sound accommodation you could do no better

Staff at Goldsmiths House were very helpful and friendly. The room (single bedroom) was also clean. Everything was perfect except the toilet which didn't work very well
