Excellent London hostel - friendly, clean, good value, safe. I stayed 3 nights. Was really impressed how they even provided individual cutlery, plates, bowl, saucepans, sieve etc. in my own locked cupboard so I could self cater. Brilliant central location just off Regents Park and accessible to most tube lines. For great value, sound accommodation you could do no better

Staff at Goldsmiths House were very helpful and friendly. The room (single bedroom) was also clean. Everything was perfect except the toilet which didn't work very well

Nobody works on the weekend, so I booked on a Saturday to come in on a Sunday and the security guard did not have me on a list he was given Friday. Why not change the website to mon-fri booking only? Also website took Amex, but in person they did not. The room was fine but the bathroom smelled awful because you can't flush anything paper-like. Consequently the hallway smelled gross as well. But other than that, if you just want to be by yourself in a quiet place, Goldsmiths House is for you
