Description |
|
 |
 |
|
|
Glasgow Summer Village is located in the city centre, in the desirable Merchant
Quarter. This is a great place to stay if you want to explore the city, with a
variety of local shops and art galleries as well as Glasgow Station only minutes
away. Glasgow Summer Village is housed in two buildings, which both offer
comfortable and affordable rooms throughout the summer. The accommodation on
Queen Street is an historic period building.

A typical room at Glasgow Summer Village
 |
 |
Glasgow Summer Village offers modern rooms, which are simply decorated with
tasteful and functional furniture. All of the rooms at Glasgow Summer Village
come with private bathroom facilities, an added benefit, as this is not often
the case with university accommodation. Self-catering facilities are available
with most rooms, with either communal kitchens or kitchenettes that form part of
studio bedrooms. Glasgow Summer Village also has a selection of rooms with
disabled facilities. |

Glasgow Summer Village has an ideal location for sightseeing. Glasgow has a
lively arts scene and an impressive architectural heritage. There are more than
50 art galleries in the city, but the Burrell Collection and the Gallery of
Modern Art are particularly recommended. You could spend a day shopping for
souvenirs in the city’s vibrant West End and a visit to a traditional Scottish
pub is a must. |
