Having read the reviews on TripAdvisor after booking EuroHotel Clapham through Travelstay, I was nervous about staying there, because the TripAdvisor reviews were so negative. But you know what? While my room was right on the top floor, up seven or so flights of stairs, and it was small and the furniture wasn't exactly smart and the decor a bit banged up, everything was spotlessly clean, and the bed, while squeaky, was so comfortable I didn't want to leave it. The breakfast was basic - Cornflakes or Rice Krispies and white sliced bread toast and unbranded tea and coffee - you could eat as much as you wanted, and the breakfast room was really pleasant. The staff were all friendly and helpful, too

It was ok for what we paid and we were only looking for a bed. In one of our rooms you had to hold the shower head by hand! Annoying! Was clean apart from toilet which could do with a touch of paint! But as I said, for what we paid I wasnt expecting the Ritz! Breakfast is toast and cereal, nothing more

For the price that I paid I think it was decent. Location is nice, room is clean, breakfast is nice enough for you to not feel hungry. I think people have exaggerated in some of their reviews

"Private bathroom" was not a private bathroom, it was in the hall and it was also used by other customers. We arrived at the hotel about 2.30 am. We were given the booked double bed room, but after that we wanted to change to a room with single beds. We asked the receptionist, but he said that someone else had occupied the room during the 5 minutes (3 o'clock in the night!), so quite obviously this was a lie. Coffee cups and spoons in the room was not washed, the same tableware was only reorganized to look like they had been washed
