The purpose of our stay was to get ready for a night out and to sleep there and for that it was very adequate. I knew prior to the stay building work would be happening so that wasn't an issue. The room was clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was hot, that's all I needed. Being in the basement there wasn't a view but equally not essential for overnight stay. I would book Cromwell Crown Hotel London again
The Cromwell Crown Court Hotel is under renovation or remodelling and wires are all over the place. If an accident occurs, there'd be a big problem. The horizontal carpet on the step makes it hard to see the step. Please make the breakfast more appealing. The staff should be more welcoming.
For the price the room was surprisingly roomy, well-equipped and clean. A pleasant surprise. It was also quiet, which in this location, I did not expect. The breakfast started too late for city workers, and needs to be open half an hour earlier.
The Cromwell Crown Hotel is conveniently located in a lovely area, next to museums and only a few minutes walk from Gloucester Road station. The room was well appointed, very spacious and clean. Also, the staff was friendly and helpful. Amazing value and highly advisable for short stays.
I wasn't lucky in the choice of the room at the Cromwell Crown Hotel because I aimed for a low price but got way lower than I expected. The furniture was very bad, especially the mattress, and the window lock was damaged, which was very unlucky for a cold night. I literally couldn't sleep the whole night because of the cold and the window was open on the ground floor where anyone can come in. I saw one of the refurbished rooms and it was awesome. I would return once refurbishment is completed.
