Hotel was clean and convenient. We had one complaint, we requested a cab to go to the Waterloo station. A van arrived, friends of the owners, and charged us three times the fare to the station. We paid less but still more than normal. A bad business practice for the hotel! For that reason only, we will not consider that hotel again

My parents and I enjoyed our stay at the Dover. The rates were very affordable and the location very convenient to public transport, shopping centre and eateries; our favourite being the Georges Pub up the road. The staff were pleasant and helpful; the rooms comfortable with ensuite, coffee and tea facilities and hairdryer. Altogether a very pleasant experience and one I would recommend for those on a budget who like a little bit extra. Regards Clare Lynch

Great location (7 min from Victoria). Very friendly staff, really appreciated the heating in the room. Toilets clean, plenty of hot water. Things worked. Rooms are small. Street noise a bit too loud (early mornings and evenings).
