I have only stayed one night at Crestfield Hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful, room not so pretty but then clean and comfortable. Great access to London transport etc. If I had to use it again I would

Crestfield Hotel Reviews
The Crestfield was clean, and freshly painted and decorated, and offered generally good service. The shower was a Triton one, and worked well, temperature and pressure wise, and was very user friendly. There was a nice terrace with Mediterranean plants and table and benches on the ground floor, outside the bar/lounge area, which must be very pleasant in the summer what a shame I stayed there in the middle of January! However, I regret the lack of such basic items as a bedside table and bedside lamp, and also a shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries on, and/or a hook to hang my toiletry bag from. I was told by the Manager that a bedside table and lamp would be provided after the refurbishing of the Hotel is complete. Thankfully, the Manager had a spare desk lamp handy that evening although the upper arm of the lamp kept falling down! On the other hand, the heating was barely working, and I had to wear a vest and socks in bed, and add two blankets on top of the duvet which were thankfully provided, before I could get to sleep! I told the Manager, who said he would have a look at the radiator. Although the place was clean and comfortable, and easy to find, as it was on the street facing King's Cross Station, the missing items as described above made the difference between a satisfactory stay, and a pleasant one, unfortunately. But with a little more effort and the adding of the above missing items, the Manager will make me a very satisfied Customer, should I stay there again in future
Our only complaint was that the wi-fi signal was extremely weak and we could only use it from the lobby. The room was small, but very comfortable and extremely clean. There is no lift, so you must carry your own bags up the stairs to your room. Breakfast was great! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very happy with our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others and stay here again ourselves. The location was very convenient at only half a block from King's Cross Station
Good location. Room OK. B'fast, at 7-15 am, too late for my departure. No fire escape except main staircase. Expensive compared with Travelodge round the corner
The room was very small, 2 cots, very hard pillows, 1 kitchen chair, no counter space to put anything, had to store suitcase under the bed. Shower flooded the bathroom as there was no division between the two. It was a walk-up, no lift. The breakfast was cereal, canned fruit, toast, juice and coffee & tea. It was ok, enough to eat in the morning. The place was clean, the web photos of the bar and garden area are accurate, it was nice. Staff was friendly. Would maybe consider a very short stay again but there are numerous hotels in the area. Felt safe, the area is quite nice and it was very convenient being almost across the street the Kings Cross station. The area has lots of restaurants, take-out, small grocery stores, internet, post office, etc
