Used the Corner House Hotel for a 1 night stay whilst down for the London Marathon. Good quick registration, got a room on the 5th floor so plenty of leg exercise. The room was very nice, good double bed, a smart en-suite with bath and shower, room safe, TV, hair dryer, room fridge etc. Plenty of sockets to plug your bits and pieces in. Room very clean. Enjoyed the stay, oh I felt those stairs after the marathon. Recommended
Absolutely fantastic Corner House Hotel. The reception upon arrival was one of smile and hospitality. Access by bus was easy to and from the Hotel. I found reception also had a lot of leaflets and useful information for myself and partner. The breakfast was adequate and substantial for continental. Lovely dining area with a relaxed atmosphere. Staff were very helpful in advising of attractions, taxi order pick up, etc. The room was so warm, I thought I was in Gran Canaria! The towels were changed daily and bins emptied. The bed was so comfortable, excellent shower, hot water, quiet location to the rear. Couldn't ask for better, will book Corner House Hotel again
Corner House Hotel is OK but the room was not warm enough. The radiator produced very little heat and the shower room was freezing with the radiator turned off and the controls removed. The weekend was one of the coldest of the winter so it would have been nice to return to warm accommodation
