To check into Castle Apartments you need to go to the central office at 6 Queen Street. Please be aware that Castle Apartments are located within historic buildings with no lift. As they are based in a central location there may be some noise.
You can request a late check out but a fee will be incurred. Free luggage storage at 6 Queen Street is available prior to check in. A fee will be charged for luggage storage on departure day. Express check in/ check out is available at 6 Queen Street, as well as a concierge service, a DVD library, a phone, fax and safe!
Family friendly Castle Apartments provide cots and high chairs on request. A laundry service is also available upon request. Your bed linen and towels will be provided and the apartment will be serviced every 7 days.
Due to a smoking ban on all public areas in Scotland, all areas of Castle Apartments are non-smoking.

To travel via plane to Castle Apartments in Edinburgh you should fly to Edinburgh International Airport. You should catch a bus from here to take you into Edinburgh City Centre.

Waverley Train Station is very close to the check in office for Castle Apartments.
- By Bus
From Edinburgh Airport you should catch the number 100 Airlink bus that will take you straight to the Waverley Bridge Terminus, just opposite Waverley Train Station. You should walk from here to the check in for Castle Apartments at 6 Queen Street. Follow the by foot directions below.

If you’re travelling to Edinburgh via train you should exit Waverley Train Station, turn right and walk to Princes Street. Cross the road and turn to your right. Take an immediate left onto St Andrews Street and another left onto St Andrews Square. Follow this square around and carry straight on. Take the 2nd right into Queen Street and look for number 6, which is the central office where you need to check in for Castle Apartments.
If you’re coming to Edinburgh via bus from the airport you should exit the bus onto Princes Street and turn right. Take a left into St Andrews Street and follow the rest of the directions above to get to 6 Queen Street, the central check in point for Castle Apartments.
